Congratulations to our supergirls!

We are so proud to announce that Sylvia and Peninah have received their diploma for their participation in the 1-year long learning trajectory focusing on gender issues in agribusinesses. The ceremony was held in Kampala in December in conjunction with the closing session. The GVC (Gender in Value Chain) has been a wonderful learning experience in addition to being a networking opportunity for Empowered Voices (EV). Cleverly guided by our local project manager, Julie Matovu, the members of EV have learned a lot about bulking of their harvest, group marketing, reaching buyers and promoting their products. We are also very proud to say that the organisers, AgriProFocus, has chosen EV as a case study for the next GVC round starting this month. This means that the new course participants of the GVC will visit EV together with the facilitators from AgriProFocus to interact and learn from their experience. Talk about empowerment! Congratulations Sylvia, Peninah, Julie, Angel (assisting Sylvia and Peninah during the closing session and ceremony - see photos) and the whole EV team! :)
